fimi.itProcess
01
Mapping the existing content structure, user flows, and information needs. Understanding what FIMI publishes, how often, and for whom formed the foundation of every design decision.
02
Reorganizing how FIMI's data is structured and surfaced. Charts, certifications, reports, ISRC: each has its own rhythm and audience. The goal: a single coherent system that serves all of them.
03
Building a visual language that matches the authority of the content: clean, editorial, scalable. From weekly chart displays to certification cards, every component designed for clarity first.
04
Rebuilding the ISRC code request process end to end, and restructuring the news and blog architecture to support a regular, scalable publishing cadence.
Brief
FIMI publishes some of the most authoritative music industry data in Italy: weekly charts, certifications, market reports, and ISRC codes. As the volume and complexity of this content grew, so did the need for a platform built to present it clearly. The brief called for a complete redesign: new architecture, new visual language, and a fundamentally better experience for every type of user.
Approach
The core work was editorial: deciding what each user needs to see, and in what order. Charts needed to feel live and immediate. Certifications deserved a format that communicates prestige. Reports and documentation required clear navigation without overwhelming the page. Once the information architecture was solid, the visual language followed: clean, editorial, built to scale with FIMI's weekly publishing rhythm.
Outcome
Delivered a fully redesigned digital platform: new information architecture, component-based UI system, a rebuilt ISRC request flow, and a restructured news and blog section. The result is a site that handles FIMI's weekly publishing cadence and makes its data genuinely accessible to industry professionals, artists, and the general public.
