Server logs
When you visit this site, Cloudflare (our infrastructure provider) automatically records standard web server data: IP address, requested URL, timestamp, HTTP status code, browser type, and referrer URL. This data is used solely for security monitoring and to ensure the site operates correctly.
Local storage
One item is stored in your browser's local storage ("lb-theme") to remember your preferred colour scheme. This value never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.
No cookies. This site sets no cookies, first-party or third-party.
No analytics. No analytics, tracking, or advertising services are used.
No forms. No contact forms or user accounts exist on this site. Contact is via direct email link only.
Legal Basis — Art. 6 GDPR
Server log processing is based on the legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) in maintaining the security and correct functioning of this website. Local storage use is strictly technical and necessary to provide the service you requested (colour scheme preference).
Data Processors — Art. 28 GDPR
Cloudflare, Inc.
Infrastructure provider (hosting, CDN, DDoS protection). Processes server log data on behalf of the controller under a Data Processing Addendum. Certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
cloudflare.com/privacypolicyInternational Transfers — Art. 44 GDPR
Cloudflare is headquartered in the United States. Data transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision, July 2023) and by Standard Contractual Clauses.
Retention — Art. 5.1.e GDPR
Server logs are retained by Cloudflare according to their standard policies (typically up to 30 days). Local storage data persists until you clear your browser data.
Automated Decision-Making — Art. 13.2.f GDPR
This site does not perform any automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR. No decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects are made based solely on automated processing of your data.
Your Rights — Art. 15–21 GDPR
Under the GDPR you have the right to: access your data (Art. 15), rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21).
To exercise these rights, contact: buffa.luca.des@gmail.com. Given the minimal data processing on this site (no cookies, no analytics, no forms), most requests will be forwarded directly to Cloudflare as the relevant data processor.
Supervisory Authority — Art. 13.2.d GDPR
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, or with the supervisory authority of your EU member state of residence.
